Bahrain hosts fintech forum

ManamaMore than 400 delegates gathered in Bahrain to attend a financial technology forum hosted by Bahrain-based Bank ABC and Arab Financial Services and sponsored by the Central Bank of Bahrain. The second Middle East & Africa FinTech Forum was based on the theme “beyond disruption” and explored the impact of technology on financial services. Incumbent banks and investment managers were urged to prepare for rapidly changing technology and customer behaviour by speakers from the world of fintech and artificial intelligence. The central bank governor, Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, spoke alongside the chairman of Arab Financial Services.
