French asset servicer BNP Paribas Securities Services (BNPP SS) has appointed Omar Arti as its new sales and relationship manager for the Middle East.
The majority of his 24-year career has been spent with JP Morgan, where he held a number of senior positions covering the custody business.
Prior to joining BNPP SS, Arti was an adviser on business development strategy for UK-based Astinal Consulting.
Ardi’s appointment is one of a number of new hires made by BNPP SS for the UK and Middle East, all of whom will be based in London.
“I am delighted to announce these new hires, which will bolster our business development capabilities across the asset management, alternatives and asset owners sectors in the UK and the Middle East,” said Patrick Hayes, head of UK, Middle East and South Africa for BNPP SS.
