International broker XTB has secured a license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) allowing it to open its first regional office in Mena.
XTB Mena will be located in the Dubai International Finance Centre.
It will be managed by Achraf Drid who was previously sales director at UAE-based ADS Securities.
Drid will be expected to develop XTB’s ambitions for the new business, which is to serve as a one stop securities shop for local investors.
According to XTB, investors will gain access to over 1600 instruments including FX and contracts for difference (CFDs). They will also be able to use XTB’s xStation trading platform which will be available in both English and Arabic.
