Candriam has partnered with the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) to launch a training platform for sustainable and responsible investing.
Candriam, a subsidiary of New York Life, manages more than US$50 billion in its ESG funds.
In 2017 it launched the Candriam Academy, a free training platform to promote its sustainable investments. The platform has been accredited by the DIFC’s legal affairs department and will be made available to the DIFC’s member firms.
Alya Al Zarouni, executive vice president of operations and head of DIFC Academy, DIFC Authority said: “DIFC is playing a central role for Dubai becoming the region’s most sustainable financial city and shaping the future of finance.
“Our collaboration with Candriam will help us achieve these ambitions whilst equipping the next generation of talent with the necessary skills to lead the transformation of the financial sector.”
