Abu Dhabi-based asset manager Invest AD has launched a fixed income investment product in partnership with Swiss private bank Julius Baer.
The product is an investment note that takes leveraged exposure to a portfolio of investment-grade, dollar-denominated bonds and sukuk in the Gulf region.
“We have seen strong interest for an investment product that gives exposure to low-risk bonds, delivers regular income, and meets return expectations at a time of low benchmark rates,” said Faras Al Ramahi, chief executive of Invest AD.
As well as structuring the note, Julius Baer is acting as market maker to allow investors to trade it. Invest AD is managing the portfolio of bonds.
The note is available to institutions that meet the Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority definition of a qualified investor.
