Bahrain-based alternative asset manager Investcorp has added Frances Fragos Townsend, executive vice president for worldwide governmental, legal and business affairs at US-based investment holding company MacAndrews and Forbes, to its international advisory board.
In her role at MacAndrews and Forbes, Townsend is responsible for advising the firm’s portfolio companies on legal, compliance and business development issues.
In a 25 year career, Townsend has served as a corporate partner at law firm Baker Botts and served in the US justice department of three US presidents, George Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
“Frances brings a wealth of knowledge and experience through her work in the U.S. market, which has been and continues to be a core growth region for us,” said Mohammed Alardhi, Executive Chairman of Investcorp.
