Alternative investment manager Investcorp has appointed private markets specialist Laura Coquis as global head of institutions.
She will be based in London and responsible for Investcorp’s capital raising efforts across international institutional markets.
For the last 13 years, Coquis has focused on the advisory market, designing and implementing capital formation strategies for private markets firm.
She was most recently a partner at alternatives advisory firm Aviditi Advisors.
Prior to that, Coquis was partner and head of investor relations at Canadian private equity firm Omers Private Markets. She has also worked in the investment banking world for Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch.
