Italian law firm BonelliErede has set up an office in the Dubai International Financial Centre to serve clients in the Gulf.
The Dubai office will offer a range of legal services in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, project finance, property law and compliance.
“Following our recent launch in Africa, the GCC was the natural next step in our ambitions to grow our international presence,” said a statement attributed to Stefano Simontacchi and Marcello Giustiniani, co-managing partners.
Andrea Carta Mantiglia has been appointed executive chairman for the Dubai office. He will split his time between Dubai and Italy.
BonelliaErede recently set up offices in Cairo and Addis Ababa.
