UAE-based investment manager Mubadala Capital has added three senior executives to its European leadership team.
Frederic Lardieg and James Peck have been appointed to the firm’s leadership team as investment partner and head of operations respectively. Meanwhile Mark Tluszcz will serve as a senior adviser to the business.
The three will oversee Mubadala’s venture capital business in Europe which comprises a $440 million fund for investing in European companies plus a fund of funds focused on investing in established and emerging fund managers.
Tluszcz is the co-founder of Luxembourg-based venture capital firm Mangrove Capital Partners where he was an early investor in Skype.
Lardieg was previously a partner at Octopus Ventures as well as the venture capital arm of Vodafone UK.
Peck was previously employed at Richard Branson’s family office where he helped to develop the Virgin portfolio.
