Dubai-based asset manager Introspect Capital has selected Northern Trust as its global custodian.
The mandate will also see Northern Trust provide agency-only brokerage services to the boutique firm as it seeks to expand within the region.
Introspect was founded in 2017 as an equities specialist focused on frontier and emerging markets throughout Mena and South Asia.
The arrangement will see Northern Trust take on both the safekeeping of assets and trading activity for Introspect as well as integrated back and middle office services.
According to Introspect SEO Kareem Hamza, the deal with Northern Trust will allow the asset manager to focus more on its investment activity and less on back-office operations.
