SGSS wins deal to support QNB in Ireland

Qatar National Bank (QNB) has selected Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) to service its Ucits umbrella fund.

Domiciled in Ireland, the QNB Global Funds ICAV (Irish collective asset-management vehicle) currently includes two sub-funds.

The QNB ZyFin India Consumption Ucits ETF, launched in partnership with Indian asset manager ZyFin, is an exchange-traded fund that tracks an index of companies expected to benefit from a rise in consumption-led demand in India. The QNB MENA fund invests in large and mid-cap companies in 11 Arab markets.

SGSS will provide fund services to the ICAV to allow the sub-funds to be distributed to investors throughout Europe. The services include fund administration, transfer agency and depositary and custody services.

The deal with SGSS was completed by QNB Suisse, a subsidiary of Qatar National Bank.
