State Street Saudi Arabia Financial Solutions has appointed Haifa Al Khaifi as chairperson of the board.
The Saudi subsidiary was set up in August and is the global custodian’s first office in the Kingdom.
Al Khaifi currently serves as the chief financial officer for Oman energy company, Petroleum Development Oman, where she also chairs the company’s pension board.
The company has also appointed former chief compliance officer and money laundering reporting officer at Northern Trust Saudi Arabia, Rasha Saleh, to the board of directors.
“We are delighted and honoured that Haifa and Rasha will be joining our Board to help oversee our exciting new expansion plans in the Middle East,” said Jörg Ambrosius, head of Emea at State Street.
